To Do

The goal is to keep busy this semester, and you'll find those activities published here.

[Tues, Sept 7] Planning Phase 1

This weekend you're working with your group to plot out a vision for how we might interact with your text over the course of 3 weeks. Will one or more of those days be discussion? Will we have a particular kind of activity to frame that conversation? For example, one group was considering a debate-type format (they're still brainstorming on it) which gets us both writing and speaking.

Come in Tuesday with an outline of your three weeks. Be as detailed as you like. Each group will (1) present their outline, and then we'll (2) discuss/critique the outline.

If one member of your group would make sure to share the outline with me, I can have hard copies of each plan for everyone in the class. This will make discussion easier.

[ TECH NOTE ] Did you know multiple people can edit a Google document simultaneously? Simply share it with other people, and if you all open it at once, you can all edit together. It's really handy.

[Tues, Aug 31] Unlearning

Class Tuesday will run in a manner similar to our first day, although I'll introduce a bit of technology, either at the beginning or end of class. We'll be discussing the article Unlearning how to Teach.

[TBA] Open Interview on Open Education

This is your chance.
