The Spring 2009 semester is a small cohort, and I have three goals for us this semester.
- You should find topic of research that you are passionate about.
- You should become accustomed to editing your own writing, as well as editing your peer's writing and having your work edited by peers.
- You will complete your Senior Comp proposal before the end of term.
Given the size of the cohort, my intention is that our day-to-day operation is more akin to a research group than a class. This means that you will need to stay on top of reading and writing, as the success of the group will be strongly influenced by the commitment of the individuals taking part.
