This course design is an evolution of Human Factors in Interface Design, which Matt offered at Olin College during the 2007-2008 academic year. This was closely related to HFID as designed and offered by Lynn Stein, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Olin College.
This semester, the design deviates in some ways, as we will engage in two projects, both involving interaction with open source communities.
Syllabus
The syllabus is an evolving document. I have set forth a set of initial guidelines that I think we can work with, but we may, as a learning community, decide it needs to change over time.
